Rotary casings are used to stabilize boreholes in unstable soil formations. They are designed specifically for the transmission of high torques and crowd forces generated by rotary drilling rigs and casing oscillators. Standard casings are produced in double-walled construction. Thus casings have an additional rigidity and strength and a continuous flush drill string is provided to prevent jamming of drilling tools during insertion and extraction.

Casing shoes can be fifitted with WS tooth holders (WSH39-52) or weld-on teeth type (other types of teeth are available on request).
They are particularly characterized by:
- Optimal rotation characteristics
- Fully welded solid wall connection between male joint section and cutting ring
- Increased wear protection optionally available in the form of vertical wear plates
- Cutting ring can be removed and replaced when necessary
